Apartment Fire & Rebuild

The Location

Eastwood Village is an apartment community in Stockbridge, Georgia, south of Atlanta in Henry County. Stockbridge is a fast-growing part of the Atlanta metro, home to many multi-family communities like this one. Aerial footage let CatCon show the full scale of the damaged building, and later the finished rebuild, from a view ground photos alone could not capture.

About the Project

CatCon is a disaster recovery firm that specializes in the reconstruction and renovation of multi-family, commercial, and industrial properties. One of the apartment buildings at Eastwood Village in Stockbridge, Georgia, was heavily damaged by fire and had to be demolished and rebuilt. We made two visits to the site: one to capture the fire damage and a second to capture the finished restoration a year later.

Why They Needed It

CatCon wanted a before-and-after video of the Eastwood Village rebuild for their own website, to show the kind of reconstruction and renovation work they do. A disaster recovery firm often has only a short window to document a property at its worst, before cleanup and rebuilding begin, so capturing the damage early preserves footage that would otherwise be lost. Showing the finished rebuild alongside it helps build trust with insurers, property owners, and future clients considering a difficult restoration.
