Services: Thermal

Drones can be equipped, or come equipped, with a thermal imaging camera. Thermal cameras let people see what their eyes can’t: invisible heat radiation emitted or reflected by all objects, regardless of lighting conditions. For example, these cameras can measure whether hot or cool air is escaping from a building, enabling you to improve its heating and cooling efficiency. This thermal testing equipment can also help in detecting damaged building infrastructure and water pooling under a flat roof.

Our thermals will be posted soon.

Uses & Benefits

Search & Rescue

Drones can cover a huge area of space in a short period of time, using aerial thermography to find people or pets whom are lost outdoors not only makes sense, but it can potentially save lives. With a drone equipped with a thermal camera, all you have to do is look for the heat signature of the person you’re trying to rescue.

Firefighting

Aerial thermography assists firefighters in locating where those lingering “hot spots” are, and make sure they keep themselves from harm. It can also help identify the location of fire victims, either within a house or a forest fire, so that firefighters know where to focus their energy and time.

Solar Panel Inspection

Sometimes solar panel inspections are done by hand or are not being done at all (which could risk losing huge amounts of potential energy). Solar panels can be inspected quickly with drones. Checking for any hot spots where there might be problem areas can prove to be beneficial to panel owners.

Cell Phone Towers & Power Lines

Weak points in the transmission and distribution network can be detected. Drones equipped with thermal imaging systems can identify problem areas before a breakdown or fire happens and prevent the fire from happening.

HazMat Inspections

Drones helps in getting a closer view in a hazardous site when it’s too risky for humans to enter. It mitigates the risk of injury while limiting any liability concerns.

General Inspections

Drone inspections of roofs and roof HVAC systems by identifying leaks and/or water damage. Drones can do this more efficiently and safely.
