HVAC Installation

01

The Challenge

Hill Company needed the installation of a new HVAC unit at a condominium in Downtown Atlanta documented, from the crane lift off the ground to the rooftop setup. They also wanted talking videos on the roof explaining the installation process and what Hill Company does.

02

How We Flew It

We planned the flight around the crane lift, since that was the centerpiece of the job and the part most likely to go by fast. We captured the pre-lift coordination and prep work first, then positioned to follow the HVAC unit as the crane carried it from the ground to the roof.

The main challenge was catching enough angles of the lift without using up all our time on one angle and missing the others. The lift itself took long enough from ground to roof that we had time to capture each angle well before moving to the next. Once the unit was on the roof, we recorded the talking videos explaining the installation process and Hill Company's work, then captured ground-level footage of the interiors, outdoor space and amenities to round out the full video.
